Retro TV Film Adaptations GONE WRONG!

Many of us growing up can remember sitting in front of the TV weeknights watching an endless supply of classic shows with characters who would reach varying levels of pop culture acclaim. Since then, we’ve gotten an equally endless stream of feature film adaptations of these shows! In this video I’m covering five retro TV adaptations that failed to capture the nostalgia of their source material.

When cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever — and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw’s sister — these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.

In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game. [Sony Pictures]
