Mark Hamill Speaks on the Podium at his Walk of Fame Ceremony

There would be no ‘Star Wars’ without Luke Skywalker. There would be no Luke Skywalker without Mark Hamill. He first played the role in 1977 and the character became iconic to not old ‘Star Wars’ die-hard’s, but the world as a whole. Your grandma has most likely heard the name Skywalker and it is because of Mark Hamill. The young kid who grew to become a Jedi Master.

Hamill reprised the role of Luke Skywalker in the recent ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ to the delight of fans, and on the eve of the films Blu-ray release Hamill finally received a much earned honor. A star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.
